¡Hola Colombia! These visitors had a particularly long journey, with more than 9,000 km: On July 7, we welcomed the Association of Colombian Universities (ASCUN) to Nuremberg. Prior to visiting us, the delegation had already completed a tight program and they had been guests for instance of the German Rectors’ Conference, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Research Foundation, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art. At the University of Technology Nuremberg, Chancellor Dr. Markus Zanner shared his insights into our concept and gave a tour of the new work spaces in the interim building before heading off on a tour of the construction site on our campus. The visit was organized by the Bavarian Academic Center for Latin America (BAYLAT). We thank ASCUN for the exchange and BAYLAT for the great coordination!
