Additional Academic Profiles

Our research staff support research projects in conceptual, methodological, or infrastructural ways and contribute to maintaining academic quality and the smooth operation of research activities. They are integrated into research structures and work closely with professors, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates. Their work is centered on subject-specific expertise within clearly defined areas of responsibility.

The Application Process for Postdoctoral and Other Academic Positions

Submit your application easily through our online application portal. You will receive an automatic confirmation email once your application has been received. After the application deadline, we review all submissions as part of the selection process and keep you informed about the status of your application. Interviews usually take place one to two weeks after the deadline. You will receive feedback in any case. Successful candidates are typically contacted by phone about two weeks later. If everything is in order, we will clarify any remaining questions together. You then complete the required documents and—depending on the type of appointment—receive either your employment contract or your official appointment letter.
