UTN School of Students and Young Researchers
StaRs is more than a traditional graduate school – it organizes teaching and offers students, doctoral researchers, postdocs and teaching staff a wide range of advisory and support services.
Teams of the Founding Executive Board
Key decisions at the university are shaped with the support of the Founding Executive Board’s teams – from high-level strategy to direct assistance to the Executive Board.
Communication Unit
From press relations to social media, events, marketing, and brand development – the Communication Unit is responsible for UTN’s external presence and public image.
Finance and Human Resources Unit
Oversees financial and human resources processes – from budget planning and procurement to recruitment and ongoing staff support across the univeristy.
Real Estate Unit
The Real Estate Unit coordinates construction projects, manages technical, infrastructural and commercial facility management, as well as sustainability and occupational safety.
IT Unit
The IT Unit provides modern infrastructure, drives information management, digital working and learning, and creates foundations for research and teaching – from compute resources to AI.
Legal Affairs Unit
The Legal Affairs Unit advises the central decision-makers and other organizational units on complex legal issues and ensures compliance with legal requirements.
Department Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence
The Department of Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence combines various disciplines of computer science and robotics to develop pioneering technologies.
Department Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
The department Liberal Arts and Social Sciences analyzes societal development and participates in researching interdisciplinary solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s technological challenges.
