Curriculum and Course Content
The bachelor’s program is taught entirely in English and has a standard duration of six semesters.
During the first semesters, you will build a strong foundation in computer science and mathematics. You will study topics such as programming, algorithms and data structures, software engineering, data management, and the theoretical foundations of computer science. At the same time, you will be introduced to core concepts of artificial intelligence and apply them in your first projects.
Starting in the fourth semester, you can tailor the program to your interests by choosing from a range of elective modules. These allow you to specialize in different areas of computer science and artificial intelligence, including machine learning, robotics, computer vision, and other emerging fields.
In the sixth semester, you will complete your studies with a bachelor’s thesis. Through an independent research or development project, you will address a current challenge and apply your knowledge to real-world problems.
Study Program Concept
Interdisciplinary courses broaden your perspective and enable you to connect Computer Science with other disciplines. The innovative Learning in Transformation project, modern teaching approaches, and plenty of room for your own ideas create an environment where you can actively apply your knowledge and develop it further.
Our innovative teaching and learning approach is based on extensive research findings and allows you to participate actively in the learning process and reflect on your learning activities. Instead of just learning by heart, you will complete learning-oriented tasks throughout the semester and receive regular personal feedback on your progress from the lecturers.
