Activities until 2025

Initial measures included staffing the DEI Office and participating in the “Shaping Diversity” audit of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. As part of this process, an accompanying steering group was set up to support the development and anchoring of a culture of belonging, wellbeing, and compassion at UTN. The audit is accompanied by an independent expert. In addition, a and a were elected by the founding committee. Additionally, the founding commission appointed a Representative for Equal Opportunities for Women in Science and Arts, and a Gender-Equality Officer for the Administration was designated.

With the statement against anti-Semitism, the UTN also explicitly expresses that anti-Semitism, discrimination and racism in any form are condemned and actively combated. The University fully endorses the “Resolution for respect at Bavarian universities and against discrimination, racism and anti-Semitism”.
