Deutschlandstipendium

We are excited to announce that the University of Technology Nuremberg has received funding to offer one scholarship for a Master student. In the future, we may have even more scholarships. This scholarship aims to award highly talented students.

Application Process

Supporting Documents

Please submit the supporting documents by the application deadline to stars-career@utn.de.

  • Motivation letter for the scholarship (maximum 1 page) in English.
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), table-format, in English.
  • Certificate of enrollment or a copy of the letter of admission, if a certificate of enrollment is not yet available.
  • Copy of the certificate of university entrance qualification (Note: Applicants from non-German grading systems must have their grades converted to the German grading system).
  • If applicable: Current transcript of records with average grade and achieved ECTS credits.
  • If applicable: Copies of certificates of vocational training.
  • If applicable: Copy of the degree certificate of an already completed degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, etc.).
  • If applicable: Copies of certificates of voluntary internships.
  • If applicable: Copies of other supporting documents (awards, certificates, prizes, employment references, etc.) that substantiate the information provided in the application form.

Evaluation Criteria

Each application will receive between 0 and 8 points based on the following aspects:

  • Grades of previous degrees
  • Special achievements, awards and prizes, previous professional experience and internships
  • Extracurricular engagement
  • Special personal or family circumstances

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will be notified via email or telephone in late February.

Scholarships are usually awarded to students and doctoral candidates by political, religious, or business and trade foundations. The criteria vary and can be found on the respective websites.
