Abstract: The Ethics of Deathbots explores the ethical implications of AI systems that simulate deceased individuals. The project examines how such technologies may affect grieving practices, personal identity, and moral obligations toward the dead and the living. Focusing on issues of digital “resurrection,” realistic representation, and emotional manipulation, the project contributes to emerging debates on the responsible development of technologies that reshape human relationships with death and memory.
