The University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN) has successfully completed the Stifterverband’s Diversity Audit “Shaping Diversity.” By participating in the audit, UTN reaffirms its commitment to systematically strengthening diversity, equal opportunities, and participation in teaching, research, and the university’s working culture.
Over a period of around two years, the audit supported the university in analyzing existing structures and further developing its diversity strategy. Through workshops and exchange formats involving different university stakeholder groups, key areas for action were identified and measures were developed to sustainably embed diversity within the organization.
The Stifterverband’s Diversity Audit supports universities in recognizing diversity as a strategic priority and in establishing the structures needed to promote it. The focus lies on equal opportunities, an inclusive organizational culture, and the promotion of diverse perspectives in both academia and university administration.
With the successful completion of the audit, UTN sends a further signal of its commitment to being an open, international, and forward-looking university. The measures developed during the audit process will now be gradually implemented and further refined in order to strengthen diversity at UTN in the long term.
