About

Timo Schneider completed his Master’s degree in Economics at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) in March 2026. During his studies, he gained experience at economic research institutes and worked as a student assistant at the Energy Systems and Market Design Lab at the University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN). Since May 2026, he has continued his work at the lab as a doctoral researcher, specializing in the ramp-up of green hydrogen markets and related policy instruments, as well as in market design and policy approaches aimed at strengthening resilience and security of supply in decarbonized electricity systems.
