About

Ulrike Pfefferer holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a specialisation in Energy Markets and Public Economics from the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). She works as a research assistant and doctoral student at the Chair of Economic Theory at the FAU since September of 2022. Her current research topics are structural uncertainty in the electricity market, the use of regional flexibility for market-based congestion management, as well as the effects of rising resource prices in the energy sector, especially on investment decisions in generation capacities.
