Sebastian Botsch holds a Master’s degree in Computational Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since November 2025, he has been working at the Energy Systems and Market Design Lab at the University of Technology Nuremberg as a Research Associate and Research Software Engineer. His work focuses on open-source development for energy market models and building modern data pipelines that support advanced analytics and reliable results at scale.
