About

Leon Kofoet completed his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Bayreuth in December 2025. During his studies, he researched the impact of different market designs and gained experience as a working student in grid congestion management. Since November 2025, he is part of the Energy Systems and Market Design research group at the University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN), where he specializes in decentralized energy systems and market modelling.
